Education Ministry

The Education Ministry of St. Paul’s Church focuses on all aspects of Christian education through Sunday school, Bible studies, discussion groups for all ages, and unique opportunities for young adults to talk about faith issues.

Sunday School at St. Paul’s

  • Sunday School is offered to children ages Pre-k through 6th grade (September - Pentecost).

New for Fall 2024: Sunday School at St. Paul's is now the RISE AND SHINE KIDS CLUB!!!

The Education Ministry at St. Paul's is starting a new Sunday School program this fall. In response to the survey conducted this past spring, our new Sunday School program--called the RISE AND SHINE KIDS CLUB--will feature units centered on Bible stories that will culminate in fun kid-oriented service projects. The Rise and Shine Kids Club meets at the new time of 9:15. Kids aged three (and potty-trained) through 6th grade are invited to join in the fun.

To learn more about Rise and Shine Kids' Club, visit riseandshinekidsclub.substack.com. While there, subscribe to the club's Substack newsletter to have scheduling and activity updates sent directly to your inbox.

 Confirmation at St. Paul's

Grades 7-8

Join us as we journey toward the Affirmation of Baptism.  Confirmation is a time for thinking about our Baptism, examining what the Bible says about our faith, understanding what we believe as Lutherans and why, and --most important of all--to ask questions about our faith!

Preparing for Confirmation is a 2 year commitment. From September through Pentecost. Confirmation meets Sunday mornings at 9:30-10:15 am and Wednesday afternoons 4:45-6:00 pm. Classes for the 2024-2025 school year begin on Sunday, September 8th.

If you have questions about the class, or need help accessing lessons and/or videos, please contact Lisa Wackler, Director of Congregational Life.

Adult Sunday School and Bible Study

Adult Sunday School is held periodically throughout the program year during Sunday school hour.

Bible Study meets every Thursday at noon in room 207 of the Education Building.

Contact the office for more information. We hope you'll join us!
